Scalable Development Process

  • A knowledge-based process plan that can be scaled to suit different project needs

  • The process utilizes known approaches and methods from OEMs to create a comprehensive product development planning tool

  • It is made up of a set of comprehensive Milestones, Gateways, Checkpoints and Activity blocks that map out dates and deliverables required to keep a program on track from Job #1

  • SPD is Scalable and Interactive 

Target Setting​

Upon receipt of initial CAD and CAE data RLE can establish baseline data sets and decide on targets for crash performace, mass and proposed costs.

Strategy and Concept

RLE has vast experience working with both in-house 3rd party design studios as well as being able to provide direct styling support, as required.

We then couple that with our knowledge of vehicle engineering in structures, layout and safety to help guide the concept process.

Finally we're able to review and assess the concept against legal, industry and consumer standards to provide an objective review of the vehicle.
